Description
Semi-Sweet plum wine
Plums are garden fruits that grow on trees. In spring they delight with beautiful white and pink blossoms, but in late August and September, when the fruits begin to ripen, the whole garden is filled with a sweet and aromatic plum scent. When the plums have become juicy, soft and colourful – from golden yellow to deep violet – it is the right time to harvest and process them.
The fruits are harvested in the Gauja National Park area. The wine is fermented and naturally settled for approximately 12 months. This wine pairs well with cheeses, meat dishes and desserts. Recommended to use chilled at +14˚C. Contains sulphites. Other semi-sweet wines are also available, for example quince, cloudberry and lingonberry.
