Raspberry distillate Ferryman 40%
Early raspberry flowers delight us already in May and June. These delicious berries are starting to get ready in the middle of July when it is usually the warmest time in Latvia. While some think of romantic sunsets by the sandy Baltic Sea, the winemaker watches the development and maturity of the raspberries to determine the right time for harvest.
Berries are harvested in the Gauja National Park. At first is made raspberry wine, then it is distilled in order to gain the happy Ferryman’s name. The raspberry Ferryman will be the right choice if you want a juicy, fruity and at the same time gentle distillate.
Ferryman story
Life is like a river flowing fast, sometimes slower. Along the way, we meet lively rapids and bubbling deep whirlpools. No one can resist this mighty power of life – only the Ferryman, that works day by day, year by year and it is strong enough to take you to the happy shore of river.
Name of the drink is created inspired by the Līgatne ferry over the river Gauja.
There are available also other distillates from Ferryman (Pārcēlājs) series: apple, pine cone and also in oak barrel aged apple brandy.
