Description
Carrot distillate Ferryman 40%
The sowing time for carrots can vary from farm to farm, but it is mainly from March to May. The harvest can also be expected if you sow carrots until mid-July. The best time to harvest them is September, October, when the carrots are properly matured. These orange vegetables are usually seen in soups and stews. Others squeeze carrot juice or use them fresh. However, this root can also be used to make distillates.
Carrots are harvested in the Gauja National Park. At first is made carrot wine, then it is distilled in order to gain the happy Ferryman’s name. This drink is suitable for lovers of sharper sensations.
This is the only product we offer from carrots.

Name of the drink is created inspired by the Līgatne ferry over the river Gauja.
