Sweet cherry wine
In Latvia, both sweet and sour cherries grow in gardens. For wine making we prefer dark red, sour berries. In spring cherry trees wake up together with other trees and plants and the beautiful flower ornaments adorn their branches in May. Berries ripen very quickly – from mid-June to the first half of July.
Berries are harvested in the Gauja National Park. Wine fermented and naturally settled for about 12 months. It is a great addition to desserts, fruit and cheese. Recommend to use chilled +14˚C. Contains sulphites.
We also offer other sweet wines: raspberry, honey wine, granny’s wine.
