Description
Semi sweet gooseberry wine
Gooseberries with different colours and tastes can be found in Latvian gardens, but we chose light berry varieties for this wine. Gooseberry bushes begin to bloom in May, but the first berries are ready in July. The ripeness can be determined by the fact that the berries have become soft and elastic. Then it’s time to put on gloves and pick delicious berries through the thorns.
Gooseberries are harvested in the Gauja National Park. Gooseberry wine fermented and naturally settled for about 12 months. It fits well with fish dishes, soft cheeses and fruit. Recommend to use chilled +14˚C. Contains sulphites.
We also produce other semi – sweet wines: lingonberry, cloudberry, blueberry, quince and others.
