Dry red currant wine
Redcurrants bloom in May, June, and very soon, in July, we can pick ripe berries. These shrubs can be found in almost every backyard garden in Latvia in different glorious colours. We use dark red currants for wine, which gives it a special character.
Berries are harvested in the Gauja National Park. Red currant wine fermented and naturally settled for about 12 months. It is excellent with meat dishes such as steak, shashlik and hard cheeses. Recommend to use chilled +14˚C. Contains sulphites.
